Stage 01
Where you are in the block
A short conversation about your training, your next event, and what is sore.

Before an event, after one, or as regular maintenance in a training block.
Sport Massage
Sport massage is timed around training rather than done at random. Light and brisk before an event, gentler afterwards, firmer and more detailed in the middle of a block when there is time to recover from the work itself.
It helps with how you feel, how you move, and how willing you are to train again tomorrow. It does not flush lactic acid out of anything — that cleared on its own within the hour — and it does not prevent injury on its own.
Timed to your trainingPre-event, post-event and in-season work all differ.

How it is staged
Each stage ends with a decision point — nothing moves forward on autopilot.
Stage 01
A short conversation about your training, your next event, and what is sore.
Stage 02
Pre-event, post-event or maintenance work, pitched for where you actually are.
Stage 03
What to do, and when it is sensible to train again.
Why it is done this way
The session matches the week you are in.

Start to review
Every stage is recorded — vocabulary, sentence length, intelligibility, measurements and, where you have them, blood results. You see your own numbers next to where you started, which beats being told it is going well.
Questions
No. Lactate clears on its own within about an hour of stopping. Massage helps with soreness, range and how ready you feel — that is a real benefit and it does not need a myth attached.
Better not. Deep work can leave you sore and flat for a day or two. Pre-event work is lighter and brisker; the deep work belongs earlier in the block.
Not on its own. Sensible loading, sleep and strength work do most of that. Massage can help with the stiffness that changes how you move.
Gentle work is fine soon afterwards. Firm work is better left a couple of days, especially after something long or hard.
