Cellulite Massage (Maderotherapy)

Wood therapy and vacuum over the area, as a course rather than a single session.

Cellulite Massage (Maderotherapy)

Cellulite Massage (Maderotherapy)

What this actually involves

Maderotherapy uses shaped wooden tools, and vacuum therapy a suction cup, to work firmly over an area. Both are a form of deep massage: they move fluid, and most people find the area looks smoother and less puffy afterwards.

What they are not is a substitute for the plan. Cellulite is normal and extremely common, influenced by genetics and hormones as much as by weight, and no massage removes fat. Sessions are offered because people like how they feel and look alongside a plan — the plan is what changes the numbers.

  • Honest about what it doesSmoother and less puffy, for a while. Not fat removal.

  • Alongside a planSessions support the nutrition work; they do not replace it.

  • A course, not one sessionThe effect is cumulative and fades without upkeep.

  • Comfort set by youPressure is adjusted as you go; bruising is not the goal.

How it is staged

Three stages, in this order

Each stage ends with a decision point — nothing moves forward on autopilot.

Assessment and measurements

Stage 01

Assessment and measurements

Measurements at the start, so any change is something you can see rather than something you are told.

The course

Stage 02

The course

Wood therapy, vacuum or massage over the area at a pressure you are comfortable with, spaced across the weeks.

Re-measure

Stage 03

Re-measure

The same measurements repeated, and an honest conversation about continuing, spacing out, or stopping.

Why it is done this way

What you get out of it

Smoother-feeling skin

Most people notice the area looks less puffy after a course.

Measured, not guessed

Tape measurements at the start and the end.

No overselling

You are told what a massage can and cannot do before you book.

Compared against your baseline, not against a feeling

Every stage is recorded — vocabulary, sentence length, intelligibility, measurements and, where you have them, blood results. You see your own numbers next to where you started, which beats being told it is going well.

Questions

About cellulite massage (maderotherapy)

Does maderotherapy remove fat?

No. It is a vigorous massage. It moves fluid and can make an area look temporarily smoother; fat loss comes from the nutrition and activity side.

Will my cellulite go permanently?

No, and anyone promising that is overselling. Cellulite is normal, most women have it, and it is strongly influenced by genetics and hormones. Sessions soften how it looks; they do not remove it for good.

Does it hurt, and will I bruise?

It is firm and some areas are tender. Pressure is adjusted to what you can comfortably tolerate. Light marking can happen, but heavy bruising is not the aim and is not a sign it is working.

Who should not have it?

Tell me if you are pregnant, have a clotting disorder or take blood thinners, have varicose veins, an active skin condition or infection in the area, or recent surgery. Some of those rule it out; check with your doctor.
