Cavitation & Radio Frequency

Ultrasound cavitation and RF sessions, described plainly and priced up front.

Cavitation & Radio Frequency

Cavitation & Radio Frequency

What this actually involves

Ultrasound cavitation applies low-frequency ultrasound to an area; radio frequency warms the tissue. Both are offered widely as body-contouring treatments, and both are sold with claims that run well ahead of the evidence.

Here is the honest version. Published results are modest — usually a small reduction in circumference over a course — and they vary a great deal between people. This is not liposuction, not a weight-loss treatment, and it does nothing for the habits that put the weight there. If that is clear to you, it can be a reasonable extra alongside a plan.

  • Modest, honest expectationsA small change in circumference over a course, at best.

  • Measured with a tapeBefore and after, so you judge the result yourself.

  • Never sold as weight lossBecause it is not, and it is not described that way here.

  • Screened firstThere are real contraindications and you are asked about them.

How it is staged

Three stages, in this order

Each stage ends with a decision point — nothing moves forward on autopilot.

Assessment

Stage 01

Assessment

Measurements, a look at the area, and a straight conversation about what a course can realistically do.

The course

Stage 02

The course

Cavitation, radio frequency, or both over the area, spaced across several weeks.

Re-measure

Stage 03

Re-measure

The same tape measurements, and an honest answer about whether to continue.

Why it is done this way

What you get out of it

Expectations set first

You are told the likely size of the effect before you pay.

Judged on measurements

Not on how the practitioner says you look.

Properly screened

Contraindications are asked about before, not after.

Compared against your baseline, not against a feeling

Every stage is recorded — vocabulary, sentence length, intelligibility, measurements and, where you have them, blood results. You see your own numbers next to where you started, which beats being told it is going well.

Questions

About cavitation & radio frequency

How much will I lose?

Honestly: possibly a small reduction in circumference over a course, possibly nothing you would notice. Published results are modest and variable. If a clinic quotes you a guaranteed number of centimetres, be sceptical.

Is it a substitute for losing weight?

No. It is not a weight-loss treatment and it does not change body weight meaningfully. The nutrition plan is what does that.

Is it safe?

Generally well tolerated, but not for everyone. Tell me if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker or implanted device, liver or kidney disease, a clotting disorder, metal implants in the area, or are being treated for cancer.

How many sessions?

It is sold as a course because single sessions do little. You will be given the number and the total cost before anything starts.
